Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT)

What is EFT?

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), sometimes called “tapping,” is a powerful non-invasive method that can help you reduce stress or other painful emotions associated with negative thoughts or experiences. It is an easily learned and very effective way of dealing with the pressures of every day living.

How does EFT work?

Whenever you experience a negative thought or painful emotion, your brain automatically goes into the “fight or flight” stress response. This floods your body with the stress hormone cortisol and causes various physical changes, such as increased heart rate, tightening of muscles, etc. By tapping on specific spots on your head, face, fingers, and chest you can easily resolve the issue you wish to address.  Clinical studies have shown that tapping while focusing on an issue literally reduces the amount of stress hormone in your body by 24%.

How do you work with clients?

With the current stay-at-home regulations in place, I can work with you via zoom, skype or on the phone. A single session lasts an hour. Depending on the issue or issues you are working on, several sessions may be necessary to clear all the aspects.
